Dim Sum @ Peach Garden

This is turning into a food blog! Kait's great-grandmother was in town for a wedding on the weekend so we took the chance to sample the ware at Peach Garden Restaurant. Dim sum was good though not exceptional; what shone was the service.
My half-vegetarian-anti-chicken-eating-sister Winnie had a craving for fried dough balls stuffed with lotus root paste and rolled in sesame. The kitchen made us some of those as a special request to the chef.
They also carted out these too-cute-to-eat penguins which are essentially re-shaped fried dough balls stuffed with lotus root paste but without the sesame. The penguins are a Sunday specialty item and very good when warm. Even Teddy wanted a nibble!

Lucas has the same bear :) Kait is looking so much like her daddy in this photo!
Ah he'll be so chuffed when he reads that! IKEA rocks (and shocks sometimes)
