Happy Lunar New Year!
We ran away again! This time to Cameron Highlands in north Malaysia. Not the brightest thing to do during the vacation period over here, I must say. We queued on the highway on the way up, and then queued some more to get to anywhere on Cameron Highlands itself.
Utterly BUSHED when we finally rolled past Tanah Rata and into Brinchang for a very late steamboat dinner (see photo of very exhausted hubby and baby flat out on bed).
Next day was a beautiful day, sunny but cool. Nice for a gentle walk on the hillock just above the Boh tea plantation - after warm scones and hot tea that you can scoff down at almost every cafe in the hill station.
Wish the trip could've been longer. We had one full day among the clouds, then it was an 8 hour journey back the north-south highway in the opposite direction. I think Kait really looked forward to the pitstops which allowed her to get out and expend some of that boundless energy that they seem to get once they start nearing the terrible twos!

bean!! kait is so cute! but i need a larger photo of her haha. lucas just turned 3 months, toilet training is not on my mind yet! he is on disposables. how abt kait?
i am hoping to return for a visit this year, cannot wait to see kait again!
hey bean - Yes!!! The earlier you start them the easier it is. Otherwise resign self to lots of mopping pee pools! I started Kait late and am still mopping up after her often enough; the good news is that she seems to have cottoned on the idea that toilets are for peeing/pooping in, not just flushing. She seems to be undergoing another developmental change which fortunately (in this dept at least) means less mopping up after pee pools :)

nope, we are still in cairo, but coming back in April. i am thinking of bringing gab to the zoo! wanna come along??

last minute change, we wont be staying in Spore for many days, so I will be rushing to buy some stuffs to stock up as usual, dont think we can make it for the zoo trip...oh, life has been simply crazy!!!
